New Delhi: Chinese smartphone brand Vivo has launched two new smartphones in India - V3 and V3 Max. Vivo, for the first time, has unveiled the smartphones globally and is flaunting their 'premium features' and fingerprint recognition.

Price: Both the smartphones come with metal unibody, fingerprint scanner, Hi-Fi audio and more. The Vivo V3 is priced at Rs 17,980 and the Vivo V3 Max is priced at Rs 23,980.

Vivo V3: The V3 sports a 5-inch (720x1280 pixels) display. The smartphone runs the company's Funtouch OS 2.5 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM. In terms of camera the device has a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with 32GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card up to 128GB. The phone offers standard connectivity features that includes 4G LTE support and also runs on a 2550mAh battery.
Vivo V3Max: The V3 Max is almost similar to the Vivo V3, with differences in battery, display size, memory and processor. The smartphone sports a 5.5-inch (1080x1920 pixels) display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass. It runs on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC with a 4GB of RAM and is powered by a 3000mAh battery.
Fingerprint unlocking: The smartphones also feature a 360-degree recognition fingerprint scanner that the company claims can unlock the smartphone in just 0.2 seconds.
Twin chip charging technology: Both the smartphones are equipped with twin chip charging technology and Vivo claims to offer up to two hours of Hi-Fi (High Fidelity) music playback after just five minutes of charging.
