New Delhi: Chinese smartphone maker, Vivo has launched its latest range of smartphones-X7 and X7 Plus smartphone. Prices start at CNY 2,498 (Rs 25,000 approx) for the Vivo X7 that will go on sale in China from July 7. Vivo X7 Plus will be available starting 15 July with no confirmation of pricing. The company will be announcing the pricing for the X7 Plus at the time of local release. Both the smartphones will be available in Gold and Rose Gold colours.
The company has not yet revealed anything about the India launch.
The Vivo X7 and X7 Plus have many similar features. Both the smartphones comes with a unibody metal design and 16-megapixel front camera. The front cameras also come with LED flash. The devices sport a fingerprint scanner, which is embedded into the physical home button, and 4GB of RAM. Both the X7 and X7 Plus are powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 652 (MSM8976) processor clocked at 1.8GHz. and come with 64GB inbuilt storage.
The Vivo X7 features a 5.2-inch (1080x1920 pixels) full-HD Super Amoled 2.5D display and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop that is based on Funtouch OS. It comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera and LED flash and PDAF. In terms of connectivity the smartphone include Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, 4G, and Micro-USB. It is also backed by a 3000mAh battery with fast charging.
On the other hand, the Vivo X7 Plus features a 5.7-inch full-HD Super AMOLED 2.5D display. It has an inbuilt storage of 128GB. The dual-SIM smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and PDAF. It is backed by a 4000mAh battery which also supports fast charging.
