The Bihar police today detained and questioned two entrepreneurs for allegedly questioning Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on start-ups during an event in Patna.
The two entrepreneurs - Nimi Kumar and Suresh Kumar - were detained for hours after they asked Nitish Kumar questions related to the state government's policy to promote start-ups and entrepreneurship in Bihar.
Nimi and Suresh, both 40 years old, were later released as police did not find anything against them.
A senior police officer said two persons were detained for a few hours after they tried to misbehave with the Chief Minister during a function on Tuesday but denied that they were mentally tortured and harassed.
Soon after they questioned Nitish, they were detained by the special branch of Bihar police and were subsequently questioned, a close relative of Nimi said.
A family member of Suresh, on condition of anonymity, said their "crime was that they dared to put genuine questions before the Chief Minister in connection with entrepreneurship. It has sent a negative message about Bihar police", he said.
