Expanding its 'X' series, Sony India on Thursday unveiled in India the mid-range device 'Xperia XA1 Ultra' that features a borderless design, two high-quality cameras and an octa-core processor. Xperia XA1 Ultra is available for Rs 29,990 in black, white and gold colours at Sony Centres and major electronic stores.

Building on the success of last year's 'XA Ultra', the camera expertise of the new device is taken from Sony's digital camera division to deliver 23MP high resolution rear camera with a large Exmor RS for mobile sensor and bright f2.0 lens for superior low-light capability.

The camera can click a photo in just 0.6 seconds and comes with a fast and accurate 'Hybrid Autofocus', the company said in a statement. 'XA1 Ultra' features a 16MP front camera with Optical Image Stabiliser (OIS) to eliminate the effects of handshake and improve low-light selfies. The device comes with a smart selfie flash to naturally illuminate a user's face in low-light conditions and allows you to capture the selfie with just a wave via the 'Hand Shutter' camera feature.

The device is powered by MediaTek Helio P20 octa-core processor and 4GB RAM for smooth experience. It has 64GB internal memory that can be expanded up to 256GB.

XA1 Ultra with Android Nougat has 2,700mAh battery and is designed to ensure a longer lasting performance. The "Qnovo Adaptive Charging" feature monitors the battery's health and adjusts charging current accordingly to avoid damage and maximise lifespan. The 'Stamina Mode' keeps the battery going for longer duration.
