‘Samsung Galaxy On Nxt’ goes on sale in India; here’s all you need to know

Samsung Electronics has started selling its new Galaxy On-series smartphone, the Galaxy On Nxt in India.

‘Samsung Galaxy On Nxt’ goes on sale in India; here’s all you need to know

South Korean tech giant Samsung Electronics has started selling its new Galaxy On-series smartphone, the Galaxy On Nxt in India. Priced at Rs. 18,490, the Samsung Galaxy On Nxt is now available exclusively on Flipkart.

Specifications:

  • Launched in October 2016, Samsung Galaxy On Nxt comes with a 5.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels. 
  • The phone is powered by 1.6GHz octa-core and it comes with 3GB of RAM. 
  • It has a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel in front 
  • It measures 151.70 x 75.00 x 8.00 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 167.00 grams. 
  • Runs on Android, On Nxt is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts two Nano-SIM. 
  • Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer. 
  • The phone packs 32GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via a dedicated microSD slot (up to 256GB). 
  • Connectivity options include GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Wi-Fi Direct. 
  • The smartphone features a full metal unibody design and it comes with 5.5-inch full-HD display protected by 2.5D Gorilla Glass. 

 

After withdrawing Galaxy Note 7 smartphone over security concerns, Samsung will now be hoping to win back the trust of the Indian consumers with Galaxy On Nxt.

 On Tuesday, the company announced it would freeze sales of its high-end smartphone and permanently cease production of the device over the persistent risk of spontaneous fires caused by defective batteries.
