New Delhi: The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is probably the most highly anticipated smartphone to come this year after the iPhone 7. Before the launch, which is scheduled next month, rumours going around suggest that it will be enormously powerful with the latest processor and a huge 4GB RAM for storage.
Steve Hemmerstoffer, a ‘reliable’ leaker, spotted the handset today on AnTuTu, the most popular Android smartphone and tablet benchmarking app. The handset may come with Snapdragon 820 processor, an Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB of RAM.
Also, if another Geekbench benchmark test turns out to be correct, the handset will come with the latest Android Nougat.
The benchmark listing also reveals a QHD display resolution, a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie shooter.
Recent photographs posted by leakster Evan Blass, the Note 7 will be available in three colour variants - Black Onyx, Silver Titanium, and Blue Coral. The image also hinted at a dual-edged display and iris scanner at the front. This additional sensor in the display screen will be the first on a Samsung smartphone with scanner integration.
Previous revelations indicate that the Galaxy Note 7 will come with a QHD Super AMOLED display, 64GB onboard storage, 12-megapixel rear camera with dual-pixel technology and PDAF, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It is also expected to come with IP68 certification, making it resistant to dust and water.
