New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is well known for actively reaching out to the public through social media. This time, he has taken a step forward by going live on Facebook’s Instant Articles (IA), through his personal website — http://www.narendramodi.in.
The website will publish posts with daily details of the Prime Minister and the various government schemes that he rolls out. Through this users will now able to view a post within the app itself.
This website will also have news-letters, interviews and speeches of the Prime Minister.

Narendra Modi government is also set to soon launch its master application, which will have all the government services integrated, named UMANG App. This app will have almost 200 government services including passport services, land records, income tax, e-Post, Women safety, and much more. The government will most likely bring this platform to people with an app, an SMS service, and IVR (Interactive Voice Response).
After US and Western Europe, India was the third region to get Instant Articles (IA) and the first country where Android users were able to access this content.
