New Delhi: OnePlus is said to unveil its new smartphone on June 14. This information has been revealed by one of the OnePlus live chats which also informed that the launch event will be carried out by using the Loop VR.
As per rumours, the OnePlus 3 will have a new design with a slim metal frames around the side. According to the reports OnePlus 3 will sport a 5.5-inch full HD display. It will likely run on the new Android N. The smartphone is expected to boast 6GB of RAM with 64GB storage, and a less powerful variant with 4GB of RAM and 16GB storage. It is also expected to pack a 3,000mAh battery,
Ahead of the launch, the company has also slashed the prices of some of the older devices – OnePlus One, OnePlus X and OnePlus 2. The price of the 64GB variant of the OnePlus 2 is now $299, the OnePlus One is now $249, and the OnePlus X Onyx variant is the cheapest at $199. The launch price of the OnePlus 2 64GB was $389, the OnePlus One 64GB was $349, and the OnePlus X was launched at $249. There is no price cut announced for Indian users so far, but we can expect launch will definitely slash the prices.
OnePlus’ official website enthusiastically says “We’ve got good news for all OnePlus fans: starting today, we’re lowering the price on all of our smartphones. Our focus remains on providing the best possible smartphone experience for you, and what better way than this? We’re all in this together, after all.”

OnePlus One
The OnePlus One 64GB is available for Rs. 18,999 and features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It comes with 3GB of RAM and is powered by the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 clocked at 2.5GHz. The One comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity options on the OnePlus One include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, and NFC functionality. It features a 3100mAh non-removable battery.
OnePlus 2
The OnePlus 2 available at Rs. 22,999 and Rs. 18,999 for the 64GB and 16GB respectively. It comes with a 5.50-inch touchscreen display and is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and 4GB RAM. The phone packs 64GB of internal storage cannot be expanded. The OnePlus 2 packs a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies. It has a 3300mAh non removable battery.
OnePlus X
The OnePlus X 16GB is being sold for Rs. 14,999 and comes with a 5.00-inch touchscreen display. The smartphone is powered by 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and 3GB RAM. The phone packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. It packs a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies. The device runs on Android 5.1.1 and is powered by a 2525mAh non removable battery.
