New Delhi: Lenovo has finally launched the much awaited Moto Z lineup smartphones. The first two smartphones in this lineup are the Moto Z and the Moto Z Force.
The interesting features of these new smartphones are external module called Moto Mod. These modules can be connected to a smartphone without switching off the phone. These modules can be connected via the ’16 magnetic’ port. These modules include JBL’s SoundBoost, InstaShare mod turning your smartphone into a projector and more.
The Moto Z and the Moto Z Force are going on sale soon in select markets. Though the company hasn’t yet revealed the pricing or an exact launch date but will be available globally in September.
Moto Z
The Moto Z is one of the slimmest flagship smartphones flaunting a width of 5.2mm and a 5.5-inch QHD AMOLED display. The smartphone is powered by a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core chipset coupled with a 4GB of RAM, 32GB and 64GB storage options, which can be further expanded via microSD card slot to 2TB. It runs on Marshmallow 6.0.1 out-of-the-box. In terms of photography the device has a 13-megapixel rear camera with laser auto-focus, 4K video recording capabilities and more. It also has a 5-megapixel selfie camera with LED flash, and a wide angle lens.
The Lenovo Moto Z is equipped with a 2,600mAh battery that the company says is good enough to offer up to 30 hours of usage also with Turbo Charging. It has a fingerprint scanner, water-repellent nano coating and more. Connectivity options include 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1, and NFC.

Moto Z Force
The Moto Z Force features a 5.5-inch QHD AMOLED display, Snapdragon 820 quad-core chipset, and 4GB of RAM. It also offer are 32GB and 64GB storage options, which can be expanded up to 2TB using a microSD card. It has a 21-megapixel rear camera with laser auto-focus, PDAF support, dual CCT flash, and 4K video recording capabilities. On the software front, it runs on Marshmallow 6.0.1 out-of-the-box. The front has a 5-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture.
The Moto Z Force features a 3,500mAh battery also with Turbo Charging features. It has fingerprint scanner and water repellent nano coating. Connectivity options include 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1, and NFC.
