New Delhi: Micromax just took the affordable smartphone segment to a new high – rather new lows – with the launch of two new ultra-affordable smartphones, the Bolt Supreme and Bolt Supreme 2. While the Bolt Supreme costs Rs 2,749, the Bolt Supreme 2 is priced at Rs 2,999. Both the smartphones are available in physical retail stores across India.
Aimed at first-time users, the launch of these two offerings arguably peg them among the lowest priced branded smartphones in the Indian market. “We are extremely proud to shatter another performance-price barrier by launching the Micromax Bolt Supreme range – Quad core chipset based Smartphones below Rs 3000. We believe that the first time smartphone buyers will fuel the growth of the category,” said Shubhajit Sen, Chief Marketing Officer, Micromax Informatics in a press statement.
