New Delhi: Micromax expanded its Unite-series with the launch of two new smartphones - Unite 4and Unite 4 Pro. The Unite 4 and Unite 4 Pro are priced at Rs 6,999 and Rs 7,499 respectively. The Unite 4 will be available in offline stores and the Unite 4 Pro will be Snapdeal exclusive.
Both the smartphones run on Android-based Indus OS 2.0. The new Indus OS supports 12 regional languages. The OS also features an App Bazaar, which is basically an app store in regional language, Indus-to-Indus free messaging services, Indus Swipe feature and more.
Micromax Canvas Unite 4: The smartphone features a 5-inch IPS HD display with a 1GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM. The device comes with 8GB internal storage, which can be further expandable up to 64GB using a microSD card. It has an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. The Unite 4 is powered by a 2500mAh battery, and the connectivity option includes dual-SIM card slots, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 4G.
The Unite 4 can be compared to Intex Aqua Secure and Reliance Digital LYF Wind 4 based on its price and specifications.
Micromax Canvas Unite 4 Pro: The smartphone features a 5-inch IPS HD display with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor. It comes with a 2GB RAM and internal storage of 16GB, which can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card. The camera has 8-megapixel on the rear end and 5-megapixel on the front. It currently runs on Android Lollipop and can be upgraded to Android Marshmallow. The Unite 4 Pro is powered by a 3900mAh battery and offers connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 4G.
The Unite 4 Pro, can be compared to Intex Aqua Shine 4G and Reliance Digital LYF Wind 1.
