New Delhi: The news and internet were abuzz with reports of the youngest app developer Anvitha Vijay who attended the famous Apple WWDC Event, focussed on developers. Now, there is another 12-year-old Indian origin boy who has made it to the news as among the youngest app developers in the world.
His recent conference at the IBM Developer Connect in Bengaluru seems to have left a mark with Tanmay Bakshi becoming the talk of the town.
A programmer since five, Bakshi is a famous programmer and also a well-known entrepreneur living in Canada. Lately, he has been listed among the youngest app developers in the world.
Tanmay addressed almost 10,000 coders at the IBM conference, where he shared details about an algorithm he created. The algorithm will be called ‘AskTanmay’, which will be the world’s first NLQA system which was built with the help of IBM Watson’s Cognitive learning technologies.

The young genius loves to share his knowledge with other students and is quite active on social media answering everyone’s questions. He has also written a book named “Hello, Swift!” that deals with iOS app programming techniques for kids, and other beginners as well.
At the conference, he also shared his personal wish list saying that he wants to visit the Taj Mahal, IITs, and get his book signed by none other than Bollywood’s own ‘Angry man’ Amitabh Bacchan.
Tanmay also has a YouTube channel where he has upload over 80 how-to solution videos. He loves to teach, he says.
Bakshi’s father, a developer himself, has also played a major role in his skills. But it is very clear that there is a lot more to see from this aspiring app developer.
