New York: In the third appointment in a period of six months, Twitter has announced the appointment of Ross Hoffman as its new vice president of global media.
Ross will be taking over from Nathan Hubbard who announced his departure from the company late last month.
Ross Hoffman has been working in various roles with Twitter since 2010. He has also worked as a senior director of brand strategy in the company.
Hoffman came to Twitter from YouTube in 2010 and was the key lead inside Twitter when the company acquired the social media talent agency Niche back in early 2015. He will be reporting to Ali Jafari, who oversees all of Twitter's media and partnership efforts.

Before Nathan Hubbard, it was Katie Stanton, who had quit the company from the role of Twitter’s head of media.
“This year, we are focused on delivering on five product priorities -- refining our core service, live-streaming video, creators, safety, and developers -- as well as recruiting great talent," a company spokesperson told the media.
"We have successfully increased our shipping cadence on our core service and have asked some of our top leaders to take on key roles in the other priority areas,” he added.
Twitter recently saw a spate of departures from the company which included two top executives - Jana Messerschmidt, head of business development, and Hubbard, head of media and commerce.
The micro-blogging site recently reported that it has almost 305 million monthly active users for the fourth quarter, compared to 307 million in the third quarter.
In January this year, the company's head of engineering Alex Roetter and product chief Kevin Weil also resigned.
