New Delhi: Domestic handset maker Karbonn Mobiles has introduced a new entry-level Android smartphone, Karbonn A91 Storm.
The company has listed this smartphone on its site and it is available on Amazon India for Rs 2,899.
The newly launched handset is available in blue, white, and black colour variants.
At this price point, the smartphone will be competing with Intex's entry-level Aqua 3G Pro Q which went on sale recently at a price of Rs. 2,999.
The Karbonn A91 Storm features a 4-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) resolution display with a pixel density of 240ppi. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box and is powered by a 1.2 quad-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. The smartphone comes with a 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and also comes with a front-facing 0.3-megapixel fixed focus camera.
The device has a 4GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). In terms of connectivity the smartphone has 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, FM radio, and Micro-USB 2.0 connectivity.
The smartphone is backed by a 2200mAh Li-ion battery that delivers up to 250 hours of standby time and up to 8 hours of talk time. The company listing claims that the handset takes up to 3 hours to fully charge.
