New Delhi: Apple is all set to launch the three variants of its upcoming iPhone - iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 Pro in September this year. While several rumours around the phone have been doing the rounds for a while now, this time a leak on Chinese social networking website Weibo has revealed the prices of the Cupertino tech giant’s next smartphones.
As per the post on Weibo, these are the expected prices:
- iPhone 7 32GB expected price: CNY 5288 (Rs. 52,983 approx.)
- iPhone 7 64GB expected price: CNY 6088 (Rs. 60,999 approx.)
- iPhone 7 256GB expected price: CNY 7088 (Rs. 71,018 approx.)
- iPhone 7 Plus 32GB expected price: CNY 6088 (Rs. 60,999 approx.)
- iPhone 7 Plus 128GB expected price: CNY 6888 (Rs. 69,014 approx.)
- iPhone 7 Plus 256GB expected price: CNY 7888 (Rs. 79,014 approx.)
- iPhone7 Pro 32GB expected price: CNY 7088 (Rs 71,000 approx.)
- iPhone7 Pro 128GB expected price: CNY 7888 (Rs 79,000 approx.)
- iPhone7 Pro 256GB expected price: CNY 8882 (Rs 89,000 approx.)
Apple fans in India can expect a minimum difference of Rs 5,000-Rs 10,000 when compared to the pricing in China.
According to the leaks and rumours, iPhones will be powered by Apple's A10 processor. Also, the iPhone 7 is expected to come with 2GB RAM, and then offer 4GB RAM to the iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 Pro variants. Both Plus and Pro variants will be powered by the same CPU but with increased clock speeds.
Reports further suggest that the phone might not include a home button and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
