New Delhi: HTC has already announced that it will be unveiling its flagship smartphone, HTC 10 on April 12. The Taiwanese company before the event has teased the audio capabilities of the smartphone on Twitter.
The tweet reads, “Here comes the new boom. You’ll hear it. #powerof10.”
HTC has posted a photo showing a large strip of BoomSound speaker grille, which was found on previous smartphones, but the smaller one is likely to come with HTC 10. Going by its teaser, the smartphone is expected to have better audio capabilities.
Few days back, there were some leaked photos showing full-metal body, a physical home bottom on the front along with capacitive buttons. The home button is also expected to come with a fingerprint scanner.
According to all the rumors and leaks, the smartphone is likely to come with a 5.2-inch WQHD (2560×1440 pixels) display, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 quad-core chipset or an equivalent MediaTek SoC that will be paired with 4GB of RAM. The smartphone will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow wrapped under HTC Sense UI out of the box.
The device is expected to come with a 12-UltraPixel rear camera with laser auto focus, PDAF and dual tone LED flash. The front camera will come have an 8-megapixel selfie camera. Both the front and rear cameras are rumored to come with optical image stabilization to take blur-free photos.
It will also have 16GB, 32GB, 64GB storage options, and a microSD card slot. In terms of connectivity, HTC 10 is expected to come equipped with Wi-Fi 802.11ac, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth, and GPS.
