New Delhi: After Twitter and Pinterest accounts were hacked, the company has switched to stronger passwords for Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg. However, a recent Facebook post of Zuckerberg revealed other security practices that keep his personal data safe.
Soon after Instagram hit 500 million monthly active users, Zuckerberg shared a post on Facebook sitting at his desk with an Instagram frame thanking users for support. If you look closely, the picture of his desk has his MacBook and other things.
In a tweet, user Chris Olson was the first one to notice that Zuckerberg had taped his webcam and microphone on his MacBook, to keep away from hackers.
This has been done as hackers could look into Zuckerberg's laptop through the audio and camera hardware, and know about a lot of critical information. Zuckerberg has gone ahead of technology and duct-taped laptop hardwares.
A report by Gizmodo claims that the desk is most definitely his, which was shown in a live video that was released some months ago. The office tour video had Zuckerberg, and at the same place he had claimed that this was the desk where the recent photo has been clicked.
Few days back Zuckerberg also did his first live Q&A session for one hour from the Facebook headquarters. In the session he had answered many questions which included topics related to VR, artificial intelligence, upcoming features on Facebook, and more.
