New Delhi: Facebook has introduced a new football game that is hidden inside its Messenger app. The game is named as KeepyUp and users will have to enter the football emoji to start the game.
David Marcus, who oversees Facebook Messenger shared the game on his page today and wrote: "Our little Messenger game we launched for March Madness and the NBA season was played over 1 billion times over the course of the last 3 months. Since you loved it so much, and it's the Euro 2016 & Copa America... You get where I'm going...! It's on!"
How to play the game?
- To play the game first you need to be running the latest version of Facebook Messenger for Android or iOS.
- Send the football emoji in any conversation inside the Facebook Messenger app.
- Tap on the emoji after sending it, and the app opens the game automatically.
- Start playing! The challenge here is to keep the football from touching the ground.
- The game keeps your best score and gets tougher after 10 points.
This is not the first time Facebook had brought a game in its messenger app. Previously, a similar Messenger Basketball game received 300 million plays in just one week. The game will roll out globally to all users and you can go to the App Store and Google Play for the update.
Recently, Facebook Messenger for Android also announced SMS support. The SMS support will bring voice chats, emojis, and location sharing to SMS messaging.
