New Delhi: Are you among those always on the move and hate to carry a power bank? Taiwan-based computer hardware company ASUS may just have the solution for you. The company has launched Zenfone Max with a huge 5000 mAH battery, which, as per the company’s claims, can give over 900 hours of stand-by time or 37.5 hours of 3G talk-time on a single charge.
“The enhanced version of the Zenfone Max with a brand new processor, increased memory and more personalisation options helps us stay true to our ethos and offer an extremely cost-effective high-end luxury product,” Peter Chang, region head and country manager, ASUS India, said in a statement.
Price and availability: Zenfone Max with 2GB RAM is available for Rs 9,999 and can be pre-ordered on Flipkart while the Zenfone Max with 3GB RAM is available for Rs 12,999 and can be purchased from Amazon, Snapdeal, and Flipkart. The 3GB RAM variant will also be available at ASUS Exclusive stores and all other retail stores across India.
Battery: The company claims that the “Zenfone Max" can give over 900 hours of stand-by time or 37.5 hours of 3G talk-time on a single charge. The smartphone comes with an OTG cable that turns the phone into a charger to power up the users' other gadgets, making it a useful everyday accompaniment. Five battery modes and a “power saver” feature help users manage and extend the battery life even more.
Features: The Zenfone Max sports a thin body design measuring just 5.2 mm. The smartphone runs on Android Marshmallow (version 6.0.1) paired with ASUS ZenUI on top of it. It is available in three different colours – black, orange and blue. The surrounding comes with a metal-like edge and makes it durable while the back is embossed with leather and makes the phone look chic and fashionable.
Specifications: The smartphone features a 5.5 inch HD (1280 x 720) IPS display with full-screen lamination and ASUS TruVivid technology. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor and provides the users the choice to opt for a 2GB or 3GB RAM variant. The smartphone has 32GB of internal memory and can be expanded up to 64GB. On the photography front, it packs 13MP rear camera with the ASUS PixelMaster 2.0 technology and dual-LED flash for natural-looking photography and a 5MP front camera. It also comes with a laser auto-focus technology that helps photography enthusiasts focus on an object in as fast as 0.03 seconds.
