New Delhi: At the Zenvolution, which took place at Humble House Taipei, Asus unveiled its new laptop and tablet portfolio - namely, the ZenBook 3, Transformer 3 Pro, and Transformer 3. All three are Windows 10 devices.
Asus claims that the ZenBook 3 is thinner and faster than the MacBook Air. The laptop features the world's thinnest fan at 3 mm. It comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 panel, and has a 9-hour battery life also with quick charging.
The ZenBook 3 features a 12.5-inch display, Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM, and 1TB PCIe x4 SSD and is priced at $1,999 (1.3 lakh approx). The Core i5 variant, with 4GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD, is priced at $999 (Rs. 67,000 approx). It weighs in at 910 grams, measures 11.9mm in thickness, and also has a fingerprint reader. On the other hand, the Apple MacBook is 13mm at its thickest point, and weighs in at 920 grams.

Asus Transformer 3 Pro, said to be a laptop-tablet hybrid, is thinner than Surface Pro 4, at 8.35mm. Also, it has a dual-front speaker that is four times louder than the Surface Pro 4.
Asus Transformer 3 Pro features a 12.6-inch display, up to Intel Core i7 processors, up to 16GB of RAM, up to a 1TB SSD, a 13-megapixel rear camera, Thunderbolt 3, full-size USB 3.0 port, and full size HDMI port. The Transformer 3 Pro starts at $999 (Rs. 67,000 approx.), which includes a keyboard and stylus pen.
Next is the Asus Transformer 3 featuring a 12.6-inch display with Intel Core processors, up to a 512GB SSD, up to 8GB of RAM, and a 9-hour battery life. It starts at a price of $799 (approx Rs. 53,000) including the keyboard dock.
At the event, Asus also unveiled three models of its new generation ZenFone 3 smartphone - Zenfone 3, Zenfone 3 Ultra and Zenfone 3 Deluxe.
