New Delhi: Asus launches two new notebooks that feature USB type-C port. A540LA and R558UR devices are priced at Rs 20,990 and 43,990, respectively. Also it is the first in this price-range with a USB USB Type-C port.
The Asus R558UR is an upgraded variant of R88UF notebook while the A540LA focuses more on the lower spectrum and comes with a lightweight design.
The ASUS R558UR notebook features 15.6-inch full HD anti-glare display, Intel core i5-6200U processor clocked at 2.3GHz paired up with 4GB of RAM and has GT930MX graphics from Nvidia. It has a NVIDIA GeForce 930MX gaming card. Asus R558UR is powered by SonicMaster and Bang & Olufsen ICEpower.
The ASUS A540LA notebook features 15.6-inch HD display with resolution of 1366x768, Intel core i3-4005U processor, 4GB RAM and Intel HD graphics 4400. Like R558UR, the ASUS A540LA's audio system is also powered by SonicMaster and Bang & Olufsen ICEpower.
For connectivity, both the notebooks offer one HDMI port, one LAN port, one VGA port and Wi-Fi.
