New Delhi: Asus has unveiled three models of its new generation ZenFone 3 smartphone at the Zenvolution event in Taipei’s Humble House today. The three models are: Zenfone 3, Zenfone 3 Ultra and Zenfone 3 Deluxe.
Last week, Asus had released a video clip confirming the launch of three new handsets. In the teaser clip, the company revealed that the device will feature all-metal body with a completely new design language.
The smartphones will also feature USB Type-C ports, fingerprint sensors, and metal frames.
Asus ZenFone 3
The Zenfone 3 has a 5.5-inch LCD screen, a Snapdragon 625 processor. It comes with a 16-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, a 3000 mAh battery, a fingerprint sensor, USB-C 2.0, up to 4GB of RAM, and up to 64GB of storage. The phone is made from two panels of glass on the front and back with a metal frame. The prices start at $249 (which is approximately Rs 16,800).

Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe
The Zenfone 3 Deluxe comes with a aluminum unibody construction with "invisible" antenna lines, which the company claims is a world first. The prices start at $499 (which is approximately Rs 33,500) for the 6GB RAM + 64GB onboard storage variant. The screen is a 5.7-inch 1080p OLED panel, and inside the phone has a Snapdragon 820 series processor. It has a 23-megapixel camera, USB-C 3.0, and up to 6GB of RAM.
Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra
This is a huge 6.8-inch 1080p LCD screen smartphone. It comes with a Snapdragon 652, up to 4GB of RAM, the same 23-megapixel camera as the Deluxe, USB-C 3.0 with DisplayPort support, what Asus describes as a 4K TV-grade video processor, and a 4,600 mAh battery. The smartphone will come in gray, silver and pink color options and price starts at $479 (which is approximately Rs 32,100) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB onboard storage variant.
