New Delhi: A week ahead of Mother’s Day, Apple has come up with its latest ad to celebrate the spirit of motherhood. The ad returns to the company’s popular “Shot on iPhone” campaign and celebrates May 8 by giving ode to mothers around the world.
The 30 second video doesn’t have a narrative but a handful of images and videos that represent motherhood using an iPhone. The photos depict scenes like childbirth, playing and growing up with your mother and also credits the owner with their names underneath. The video ends with a simple message — ‘Celebrating motherhood through the lens of iPhone users around the world’.

Apple has recently been ramping up its advertising efforts as it also celebrated Earth Day on 22nd April 2016 in a similar manner. The Earth Day video focused on Apple’s environmental efforts and talked about how every iMessage goes through one of Apple’s data centers, which is powered by 100 per cent renewable energy.
The ‘shot on iPhone’ campaign started last year and is meant to highlight just how good iPhones’ cameras are. A survey last year had declared the iPhone 5s and the iPhone 6 as two of the most popular smartphone cameras on photo-sharing platform Flickr.
