PM Modi's speech LIVE on Union Budget 2019
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is addressing the nation after the presentation of Interim Budget 2019 in Parliament. The Budget 2019, proposed today by acting Finance Minister Piyush Goyal In Lok Sabha, brought cheers to middle-class, farmers, labourers and senior citizens. Modi hailed the 'Budget for New India', stressing that it will energise the nation. The prime minister said farmers never came under the ambit of schemes which were initiated since years. He also congratulated the middle class for the relief in taxes, hailing their "stellar contribution" towards the development of the nation.
