The strife over the NEET UG row is intensifying with a heated spat between the ruling BJP and the opposition. In the latest development, Rashtriya Janta Dal's spokesperson and Rajya Sabha MP Manoj Jha on Monday held a press conference in Delhi. He attacked the government and asked about the Bihar-Gujarat connection of the paper leak.

The RJD MP said that news is made from a rumour and everyone gets involved in it which is clearly visible. Meanwhile, he also revealed Sanjeev Mukhiya's connection to the NEET leak case. He said, "If we talk about the Bihar connection, then a big name has come up in this case, Sanjeev Mukhiya." Jha claimed that Sanjeev Mukhiya's has a son named Shiv, whose name has come up in this case but he got bail from outside.

Disclosure on Sanjeev Mukhiya

Manoj Jha further added that no rocket science is needed to know who is Sanjeev Mukhiya. He said that Mukhiya's wife had contested elections on a JDU ticket. Jha also said that he had a connection with a 'special district' of Bihar CM Nitish Kumar.

Mentioning another name Amit Anand, Jha said that he has connections with special people. "There are pictures of the Haryana CM with the owner of a school in Haryana, the school in which the fraud took place", Jha claimed. In such a situation, he asked what the Bihar and Gujarat connection of the NEET exam leak was. It should be investigated, he emphasised.

Strong attack on the central government

Moreover, Jha reiterated his party's demand that the NEET exam should be cancelled suggesting that "the institution named NTA should be thrown into the Bay of Bengal."

He took on the government and said that it has completely failed in conducting 'one nation, one exam'. Jha added that in the Modi government, resignations did not happen but this in the NDA government and the resignations will happen now. Apparently, he was highlighting the formation of the recent government. After two terms of absolute majority, the BJP fell short by 32 seats in the 2024 general elections. However, the NDA as a whole crossed the majority mark.
