Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday escaped unhurt after a portion of the dais set up for one of his election rallies in Bihar caved in.
When RJD president Lalu Prasad Yadav's daughter Misa Bharti was leading Gandhi while holding his hand towards his seat, a portion of the make-shift stage sagged and caved in.
In the viral video, Gandhi was seen struggling for balance moments after the stage caved in.
An alert Bharti quickly held Gandhi by the hand, helping him regain his balance and they smilingly told anxious security personnel, who ran to help, that the Congress leader was fine.
Bharti on Monday is contesting from the Patliputra Lok Sabha seat, seeking to wrest from her father's former confidant Ram Kripal Yadav, who is now in the BJP.
