JDU appoints Sanjay Jha as party's new national working president

New Delhi: The Janata Dal (United) - JDU on Saturday appointed Sanjay Jha as party's new national executive president. The decision was taken in a core meeting attended by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

"Two important proposals were passed during party's national executive meeting today. Party's national president CM Nitish Kumar has decided to make Sanjay Jha party's working president. It was also decided that JD(U) will remain with the NDA," informed JD(U) MLC Neeraj Kumar.

"Our leader and our national president, CM Nitish Kumar has given me a huge responsibility. I am grateful to him and Nitish Kumar has transformed Bihar... The election that took place in Bihar has shown that we won 30 out of 40 seats. We have won in 177 assembly seats out of 243. Bihar has given a signal for the 2025 Assembly elections...," Sanjay Jha said. 

On the NEET issue, he says, "A strict law should be brought on this, action should be taken against those who are guilty, so that people's confidence is restored."
