A rocket-propelled grenade fired from the street shattered glasses at Punjab Police's intelligence wing headquarters in Mohali.

A rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) on Monday hit the Punjab Police Intelligence wing headquarters in Mohali with police saying a 'minor explosion'.

As per sources in the Punjab government, the blast is not a terrorist incident. The Punjab Police Intelligence department has its own explosives due to which the blast took place.

The four suspected Pakistan linked terrorists on their way to Telangana to deliver explosives were nabbed in Haryana's Karnal on Thursday and arms, ammunition and IEDs were recovered from the vehicle they were travelling in, senior police officials said.

Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann is not happy with the police probe so far. The top police officials' late response to the violence has irked the CM.

The fire brigade officials after getting the information rushed to spot and controlled leakage and brought the situation under control.

Among the IPS officers who have been shuffled is the DIG of the newly formed Anti-Gangster Task Force, Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, who has been transferred and posted as the DIG of Rupnagar Range, replacing Arun Kumar Mittal.
