Out of 29 new coronavirus cases in Bihar on Thursday, nineteen were those of migrant workers who had returned from other states

The Naveen Patnaik government on Sunday decided to bring back migrant workers from the state who are stranded in Gujarat due to the nationwide lockdown amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

In Bihar, out of 182 coronavirus positive patients, 121 people have been infected by only 7 people, according to state Health Secretary.  

After five new cases of coronavirus were reported in Bihar, the total number of cases rose to 136 on Wednesday. Among the total people infected as on date, 42 have recovered and 2 have passed away. All five cases were reported in Patna. Meanwhile, Siwan had the highest number of COVID-19 cases

A fire broke out in the emergency ward of atna Medical College Hospital (PMCH) on Tuesday afternoon. The fire has been controlled. The fire is said to have caused due to short circuit in the emergency ward.
