The woman has been identified as Amreen Bhat, 35, daughter of Khazar Bhat in Chadoora. Her 10-year-old nephew was also injured in the attack. Amreen was a local TV artist.
Police said incriminating materials including arms and ammunition have been recovered from the site of the encounter in Baramulla. A combing and search operation is currently underway.
Both cop and his daughter were rushed to SKIMS hospital after terrorists targeted them but the former succumbed to his injuries. He has been identified as Saifulla Qadri son of Mohd Syed Qadri resident of Malik Sahib Soura.
TRF is an outfit of the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba. The Amarnath Yatra is a pilgrimage to the Amarnath temple in Jammu and Kashmir which takes place during the summer months.

J&K Lt Governor Manoj Sinha strongly condemn the terror attack on Sarpanch, Manzoor Ahmad Bangroo. "Perpetrators of this despicable act shall be punished. My deepest condolences to the bereaved family in this hour of grief," he added.
There were no reports of any casualties so far.
