Delhi Police arrests 40 from Sheesha bar for blatantly violating lockdown guidelines

First death due to Covid-19 has been registered a prison in Delhi. A prisoner who died on June 15 in Delhi's Mandoli jail was found to be coronavirus positive by the jail authorities.

Noida Police has arrested two persons who were trying to lure migrants and collecting money from them in disguise for free bus service to their native towns. The two were asking hefty amounts from migrants, labourers who wanted to travel to Bihar.

16 high-risk contacts of the coronavirus positive pizza delivery tested negative on Monday. At least 72 families in Delhi have been quarantined after the delivery boy from Malviya Nagar tested positive for the virus. Along with the 72 families, 17 colleagues of the delivery agent had also been placed under quarantine.

South-East Delhi Additional DCP Kumar Gyanesh helped Mohammad Aamil when his wife was pregnant and had to visit a hospital near Jama Masjid for a regular check-up amid the lockdown situation.

South-West Delhi DCP has gone into self-quarantine alongwith 30 other cops. The precaution came after they came in contact with an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) who tested positive for the coronavirus.

A coronavirus positive suspect who resides at DDA flats near Mata Sundri Road Delhi (lP estate) jumped from the first floor of Jai Prakash Narayan (JPN) hospital and broke his leg. He first dropped on the tin roof and then on the ground hurting his leg.

Tihar jail authorities are also scanning new entrants for traces of the virus before allocting them a cell on the premise. The inmantes are taken in a quarantine facility created in a seperate cell for three days before transferring them to their wards.
