Stock markets: The 30-share BSE Sensex inched up 13.76 points or 0.02 per cent to 66,398.54. The broader NSE Nifty advanced 4.40 points or 0.02 per cent to 19,676.75 in early trade.

The profit after tax (PAT) stood at Rs 4.10 crore in the April-June quarter, boosted by higher revenues, according to an exchange filing by the company. It had posted a net profit of Rs 35 lakh in the corresponding period last year, the filing added.

The PAT increased by a whopping 144 per cent in the April-June quarter, the filing said, adding that earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) jumped by over 200 per cent.

The peak power demand rose to 223.23 GW in April-June 2023 from 215.88 GW in the same period in 2022. It was 193.99 GW in April-June 2021.
