Vastu Tips: You must never keep a cracked or a broken mirror in the house. Elders of the house often ask us to remove the broken mirrors and broken idols from the house. There is a significant reason behind this which is mentioned in Vastu Shastra. Acharya Indu Prakash talks about not keeping a broken or disfigured mirror in the house. Although putting a mirror in the house is auspicious, a broken or a cracked mirror gives inauspicious results.
Keeping such a mirror in the house reduces the positive vibration and increases the negative vibration because the light falling on the broken mirror transmits negative energy which directly affects the members of the house.
If the mirror is broken, it should be thrown out of the house. When a mirror breaks suddenly, it means that some big trouble in the house has been averted on this mirror, so it should be thrown out.
