Basant Panchami 2022
The fifth day of Shukla Paksha of Magha month is celebrated as Basant Panchami. Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of learning and art, is worshipped on this day. Students must pray to Goddess Saraswati on this day as it is considered auspicious. It is believed that worshipping Goddess Saraswati removes all the problems concerned with knowledge. Along with this, there is happiness and prosperity. Know from Acharya Indu Prakash what are the auspicious measures to be taken on the day of Basant Panchami.
- If you are going to participate in a writing competition soon or are going to take any competitive exam, then on this day you should take a pen and worship the pen by applying turmeric, rice on it and later write the paper with the same pen.
- If you are facing any kind of problem in taking higher education then you should chant this mantra of Maa Saraswati 108 times. The mantra is - 'Om aim hreem shree klein saraswati namah'. Along with chanting the mantra, you should also wear Vidya Yantra.
- If you want to pursue a person for love, then you should chant this vashikaran mantra of Kamdev, 21 times while thinking about that person. The mantra is 'ऊं नमः काम-देवाय। सकल जन सर्वजनान् मम् दर्शने उत्कण्ठितं कुरु कुरु, दक्ष इक्षु धर कुसुम-वाणेन हन हन स्वाहा।' (Om Namah Kama-Devaya. Sakal Jan Sarvajanan Mam Darsane Utkanthitam Kuru Kuru, Daksha Ikshu Dhar Kusum-Vanen Han Han Swaha)
- If your spouse is angry with you, then to convince him, you should write 'क्लीं' with vermilion on a white blank paper, fold it and keep it in the wardrobe of your spouse's clothes.
- If you have been looking for a good husband or a good wife for a long time, then you should do a havan with the lava of paddy mixed with curd along with Kamadeva's monosyllabic mantra 'क्लीं'.
- If your child is still young and he goes to school and you want him to become a good speaker in future and people are impressed by his words, then on Basant Panchami you should use a pomegranate shaped in a pen or if possible gold needle dipped in honey and write 'ऐं' on the child's tongue while meditating about Goddess Saraswati.
- If you want to attract someone towards you, then you should think about the face of that person with yellow flowers in your hand and chant this special mantra of Kamadeva 108 times. The mantra is- "ऊं नमो भगवते कामदेवाय, यस्य यस्य दृश्यो भवामि, यश्च यश्च मम मुखम पछ्यति तत मोहयतु स्वाहा।" (Om Namo Bhagwate Kamdevaya, Yasya Yasya Drishno Bhavami, Yascha Yascha Mam Mukham Pachyati Tat Mohyatu Swaha). After chanting this mantra, keep those flowers with you till Holi. After that throw it in running water.
- If you want to restore the winds of new zeal in your married life, then while wearing yellow coloured clothes, you should chant this mantra of Kamadeva, 108 times. The mantra is- ‘ऊं कामदेवाय: विदमहे पुष्पबाणाय धीमहि तन्नो अनंग: प्रचोदयात।' (Om Kamadevaaya: Vidmahe Pushpabanaya Dheemah Tanno Anang: Prachodayat.)
- If you belong to a musician, singer or any other genre of music and want to move ahead in life, then you should worship Goddess Saraswati after taking bath and offer yellow coloured sweets to the Goddess Saraswati. Also chant this mantra 11 times 'ऊं ऐं ह्रीं श्रीं क्लीं सरस्वत्यै नमः।' (Om aim hreem shree klein saraswatyai namah)
- If you want to maintain love in your marital relationship then you should worship Bhagwati Rati, Kamadeva and offer flowers to them.
