DHAKA, Bangladesh (AP) — West Indies captain Rovman Powell won the toss and elected to bat in the opening match of the three-game one-day cricket series against Bangladesh on Sunday.

Aiming to win its first ODI series since its victory against Bangladesh at home in 2014, West Indies made two changes to the squad from its last one-dayer, in India last month.

Darren Bravo is playing his first match in two years while spinning allrounder Roston Chase came into the side replacing regular skipper Jason Holder and Fabian Allen.

All of Bangladesh's leading players are back in the side in captain Mashrafe Mortaza's 200th match, after experiments with the lineup in the recent home series against Zimbabwe.

Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, Mustafizur Rahman, Mehidy Hasan and Rubel Hossain came in place of Mohammad Mithun, Nazmul Islam, Mohammad Saifuddin, Abu Hider and Ariful Haque from their third ODI against Zimbabwe in October.

Teams:

Bangladesh: Tamim Iqbal, Imrul Kayes, Soumya Sarkar, Mushfiqur Rahim (wk), Shakib Al Hasan, Mahmudullah, Liton Das, Mehidy Hasan, Mashrafe Mortaza (captain), Mustafizur Rahman, Rubel Hossain.

West Indies: Kieran Powell, Shai Hope (wk), Darren Bravo, Marlon Samuels, Shimron Hetmyer, Roston Chase, Rovman Powell (captain), Keemo Paul, Devendra Bishoo, Kemar Roach, Oshane Thomas.
