Prosecutors have filed a homicide charge against a man accused of opening fire inside a Pennsylvania municipal building, killing a township employee.

David Green covered himself with a yellow tarp as he was led into a magistrate's office for his arraignment Tuesday afternoon. He was ordered jailed without bail. He told reporters he is "sorry for what I did."

Authorities say the 72-year-old Swiftwater man walked into the Paradise Township municipal building and shot 65-year-old Michael Tripus, the township's sewage enforcement and building code officer. Police took Green into custody without incident.

Online court records don't list an attorney who could speak on Green's behalf.
