DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed won the toss and chose to bat in the third and final Twenty20 against New Zealand on Sunday.
Pakistan has already taken an unassailable 2-0 lead and will be aiming for its second successive 3-0 T20 series win after sweeping Australia last month.
For Pakistan, 31-year-old fast bowler Waqas Maqsood made his Twenty20 debut in place of Hasan Ali while Usman Khan came in for Shaheen Afridi.
New Zealand made three changes from the team which lost the last match by six wickets with two balls remaining. Injured Corey Anderson (heel) was replaced by Mark Chapman, who is getting his first game of the series.
Lockie Ferguson and fast bowler Seth Rance were drafted in as New Zealand left out Adam Milne and spinner Ajaz Patel.
