JOHANNESBURG (AP) — Experienced batsmen Hashim Amla and JP Duminy are out of South Africa's limited-overs tour to Australia, with allrounder Chris Morris recalled for the three ODIs and one Twenty20 game next month.

Amla is still recovering from a finger injury while Duminy aggravated a right shoulder problem in South Africa's home series against Zimbabwe which will now need surgery.

Fast-bowling allrounder Morris returns to the squad after missing the Zimbabwe games with injury. Dale Steyn will also tour Australia after making a comeback to limited-overs cricket against Zimbabwe, having not played for two years because of shoulder and foot injuries.

Farhaan Behardien and Dwaine Pretorius were included to cover for Amla and Duminy and Faf du Plessis is captain after also returning from injury against Zimbabwe.

South Africa plays Australia in ODIs at Perth, Adelaide and Hobart. The one-off T20 is on the Gold Coast.
