DHAKA, Bangladesh (AP) — Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah took a cautious approach as they added 62 in the morning session Monday to lift Bangladesh to 365-5 at lunch on day two of the second test against Zimbabwe.
The pair weathered the early trouble produced by Kyle Jarvis to extend their unbeaten stand to 66 after Bangladesh resumed at 303-5.
Mushfiqur was not out on 135 at the interval and skipper Mahmudullah was batting on 35 runs.
Zimbabwe had a setback when Tendai Chatara left the field with a quadriceps muscle strain that could keep him out of the remainder of the match.
Mushfiqur had a lucky reprieve on 112 when he was dropped by Regis Chakabva.
