KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) — Malaysian's anti-graft agency says ex-Prime Minister Najib Razak and two former high-ranking officials will face new charges of criminal breach of trust.

The agency says Najib and former treasury chief Mohamad Irwan Serigar Abdullah will be charged Thursday in "several cases of criminal breach of trust involving the use of Malaysian government funds." It said Wednesday that former foreign intelligence agency chief Hasanah Abdul Hami will also face similar charges.

Malaysia's new government has stepped up prosecution of Najib and other former officials over alleged graft since its stunning electoral victory in May. Najib, his wife Rosmah Mansor, and his former deputy, Abdul Zahid Hamidi, have pleaded not guilty to multiple counts of corruption.
