DALLAS (AP) — Mattias Ekholm scored 2:27 into overtime, and the Nashville Predators rallied to beat the Dallas Stars 5-4 on Saturday.

Nashville killed off a Dallas power play for the first part of OT, and then Ekholm took a cross-ice pass from Kyle Turris and sent the puck over Stars goalie Ben Bishop for the win.

The Predators (13-3-0) improved to 8-0 on the road this season. They rallied to tie the game three times, the last on Roman Josi's power-play goal with 43 seconds left in the third period.

Tyler Seguin, Jason Spezza, Tyler Pitlick and rookie Denis Gurianov scored for Dallas (9-6-2), which lost for the third time in four games. Bishop finished with 29 stops.

Josi and Ryan Johansen each had a goal and an assist for Nashville. Ryan Hartman and Yannick Weber also scored, and Juuse Saros had 20 saves.

FLYERS 4, BLACKHAWKS 0

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Sean Couturier had two goals and an assist, Brian Elliott made 33 saves and the Flyers continued their dominance over slumping Chicago in Philadelphia.

Claude Giroux tallied a goal and two assists and Nolan Patrick added an empty-netter for the Flyers, who have won five of six overall and 15 in a row at home in the regular season against the Blackhawks. Chicago last won a regular-season game in Philadelphia on Nov. 9, 1996.

The Blackhawks have lost six straight games and two in a row under coach Jeremy Colliton. The 33-year-old Colliton replaced Joel Quenneville, the NHL's second-winningest regular-season coach who was fired on Tuesday after 10 seasons at the helm.

Elliott was solid all game and made some key saves in the third period, including stopping Patrick Kane from close range on a Blackhawks power play, while recording his 38th career shutout. He also denied Dominik Kahun and Nick Schmaltz on shots from the slot that came right after the other early in the third.

SABRES 4, CANUCKS 3, SO

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — Jeff Skinner and Sam Reinhart rallied Buffalo with goals late in the third period, and Jack Eichel and Casey Mittelstadt scored in the shootout to beat Vancouver.

With goalie Carter Hutton pulled for an extra attacker, Skinner got Buffalo within 3-2 with 2:27 left in the third, and Reinhart tied it 40 seconds later. Nathan Beaulieu also scored, and Rasmus Ristolainen and Rasmus Dahlin each had two assists in the Sabres' second straight overtime win.

Hutton made 36 saves and stopped two shots in the shootout, including a final denial moments after Mittelstadt's go-ahead score.

Loui Eriksson had a goal and an assist for the Canucks, who are 4-0-2 in their last six games. Jake Virtanen and Erik Gudbranson also scored, Antoine Roussel had two assists and Jacob Markstrom stopped 34 shots in the third leg of a six-game trip.
