NOTE: The timing for Women in Wrestling has changed to 5 p.m. Tuesday.

___

MONDAY, Oct. 22

BBO--BUCK-20 WORLD SERIES

Joe Buck will call his 20th World Series for Fox during what can be called the busiest month of his broadcasting career. Normally Buck does only baseball during October but he is also calling Thursday Night Football. By Joe Reedy. SENT: 1,000 words, photos.

TUESDAY, Oct. 23

WOMEN IN WRESTLING

WWE has touted an evolution in the way it approaches women's wrestling and it's making a statement with the company's first all-female pay-per-view event. But WWE is making a more lucrative statement by running an event in Saudi Arabia where female wrestlers — led by crossover star Ronda Rousey — are not allowed to compete. WWE was already taking PR hits for holding an event in Saudi Arabia and it's only getting worse in the wake of the disappearance of a missing journalist. By Doug Feinberg and Dan Gelston. UPCOMING: 800 words, video by 5 p.m. Tuesday.

WEDNESDAY, Oct. 24

FBN--Jaguars-London

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Jaguars want to be London's team, at least on a part-time basis. Team president Mark Lamping says playing a home game across the pond annually is imperative to the long-term viability of the franchise in Jacksonville and insists any rumors about relocating to London are false. He says team owner Shad Khan wants to make the NFL work in one of the league's smallest markets and an attempt to buy historic Wembley Stadium was nothing more than trying to gain a foothold in a somewhat-untapped market. By Mark Long. UPCOMING: 900 words, photos by 1 a.m. Wednesday.

BKC--CREIGHTON-KRAMPELJ'S COMEBACK

OMAHA, Neb. — Creighton center Martin Krampel has torn the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee twice and in his right knee once, all since 2013. A lot of other athletes would have called it quits. Not Krampelj, who says his love for playing in front of home crowds of 17,000 kept him from giving up. Krampelj was one of the most improved players in the Big East when he got hurt last January. The Slovenian is expected to help anchor the middle for a Bluejays team that lost four of its top six scorers. By Eric Olson. UPCOMING: 800 words, photos by 3 a.m. Wednesday.

THURSDAY, Oct. 25

SOC--SWEDEN-KURDISH PRIDE

It started out as a social project to get misbehaving kids off the street in a rural town in central Sweden. Now it's a top-flight soccer team representing and giving hope to millions of people from unstable, disputed territories in the Middle East. The 14-year journey of Dalkurd is an unlikely story of second chances, cultural integration and using the world's most popular sport as a force for good. Perhaps most poignantly, it has given the Kurdish population — scattered and ravaged by war for decades — something to cherish as their own. By Steve Douglas. UPCOMING: 900 words, photos and video by 3 a.m. Thursday.

FRIDAY, Oct. 26

OLY--SKATEBOARDING-BRIGHTON FUTURE

The 14-year-old skateboarder from California has her own vert ramp in her backyard, with Tony Hawk even stopping by from time to time. Brighton Zeuner may not be a familiar name now, but just may be when skateboarding makes its Olympic debut at the 2020 Tokyo Games. Zeuner's been referred to as the Chloe Kim of her sport. Like Kim in snowboarding, Zeuner's hoping to come home to California with gold. By Pat Graham. UPCOMING: 800 words, photos by 3 a.m. Friday.
