LIVINGSTON, Scotland (AP) — A Scottish Premiership match was briefly stopped when an assistant referee was hit on the head by an object.
During Sunday's home game against Glasgow club Rangers, Livingston tweeted in the second half that the official appeared to "have been struck on the head by something from the away end."
Images showed a cut and blood on the back of his head. Livingstone won the match 1-0.
