TMC announces candidates for Assembly bypolls on July 10, fields Mukut Mani Adhikari from Ranaghat-Dakshin

Apart from West Bengal, the bypolls will also be held in Uttar Pradesh and all other states where MLA posts have become vacant after incumbent lawmakers contested in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections.

The Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Friday released a list of four candidates for the impending West Bengal legislative bypolls, scheduled to be held on July 10. Mamata's party has fielded Krishna Kalyani from Rajganj, Mukut Mani Adhikari from Ranaghat-Dakshin, Supti Pandey from Maniktala and Madhuparna Thakur from Bagdah.

Apart from West Bengal, by-elections will also be held in Uttar Pradesh on 8 seats and one MLC seat.
