PM Modi reminds Congress of 1984 riots, says it has no right to talk about tolerance

Purnia: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched a blistering attack on Congress for speaking on 'rising intolerance' in the country.

Reminding the Congress party about 1984 riots against Sikhs in the wake of then PM Indira Gandhi's assassination, he said, "Do you remember November 2, 1984? What happened in Delhi? Sikhs were being killed. Serious charges were levelled against Congress... and ironically now the Congress talks of tolerance."
