Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati on Sunday announced the launch of a BSP campaign from Ayodhya on July 23 to connect with the 'upper-caste' Brahmins ahead of the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls. Mayawati said she hopes the community will not vote for the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) next year, saying that their interests are safe under the BSP rule only.
