Rajnath Singh lays foundation stone of new Thal Sena Bhawan in Delhi

 

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh performed 'bhoomipoojan' of new Thal Sena Bhawan in Delhi on February 21. Indian Army Chief General MM Naravane was also present at the foundation stone laying ceremony along with other officials. Approximately 7.5 lakh square meter of the area will be constructed to house the office complex and parking. A total of 6014 offices will be constructed which will house offices for 1684 officers both military and civilian and 4330 sub staff. It will generate minimum 2 lakh hours of skilled and unskilled work and will generate jobs for youth. It is proposed that new Thal Sena Bhawan will be constructed in 5 years. "The foundation stone of Sena Bhawan is a source of inspiration for all of us. It is because of you all, today India is known as a strong nation," Rajnath Singh said here.
