'Kem Cho Trump': Walls being constructed in front of slums along roadshow route in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad civic body is busy in doing "beautification work" ahead of United States President Donald Trump's visit in Gujarat. The body is building walls on the stretch that leads to Gandhinagar from Ahmedabad airport. On this route, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Trump's convoy will move for a roadshow. These walls mask the slum area and kutcha houses with an estimated population of over 2,000. The US President will be on his first official visit to India from February 24-25 at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He will attend a public event followed by bilateral talks in New Delhi.
