Ground Report: Paddy procurement delay triggers farmers to start another protest against Centre

Farmers are set to protest outside the houses of MPs, MLAs and other leaders in Haryana today. Earlier on Thursday, Haryana BKU (Chaduni) chief Gurnam Singh Chaduni had said farmers would protest if the state government fails to begin paddy procurement on October 1. Chaduni said that the Centre has postponed the paddy procurement from October 1 to October 11.
