As cyclone Yaas makes a landfall in Odisha, Bihar, West Bengal likely to receive heavy rainfall
Very severe cyclonic storm Yaas is now about 30km south-southeast of Balasore. The landfall process started around 9am. It will take around 2 hours to complete. Over 11.5 lakh people were evacuated from vulnerable places in West Bengal ahead of the cyclone.
